Casting & Popping for Tuna

We specialize in the run and gun topwater tuna fishery here at Waterman Charters. Come see why this exciting fishery is one of the fastest growing types of fishing there is. We have the most successful record in New Jersey’s late fall bluefin fishery and have fine tuned all of our equipment and boat specifically for these fish. The first time you see a several hundred pound tuna crash your lure you will be hooked on this fishery.

Fly Fishing

New Jersey is a very underrated destination for flyfishing however with all of the flats and back bays its quickly becoming a favorite given the variety of fish these areas hold. Over the past 2 decades we have had great success casting to striped bass, bluefish and weakfish in our back bays and flats. On the oceanfront we chase larger striped bass and false albacore with the long rod. We keep all fly gear on the boat for customers that do not wish to bring their own.

Waterfowl Hunts

Come join us for a waterfowl hunt on the historic Barnegat Bay. All of our guides were born and raised duck hunting this region and know exactly where to put you for success whether it;s one of our custom floating blinds or pond boxes for when the birds are on the move.
